Great stuff. Fast delivery and gave me the next unit up on the one I bought. Wired it all together and hey presto three phase power. Cheers!!

When we moved into a larger workshop, we didn't realise it could even be without three-phase power. We learned about the Booster converter but our electrician said it wouldn't work. We asked the lines company for a quote to get three-phase power installed - the costs would have been $10.000,- so the decision was made: try a Booster.
Eurotech accepted our request to refund the purchase price if anything didn't work as promised.
The new Booster was delivered, we now run our large surface grinder, the milling machine and the two large cooling fans perfectly. It has functioned flawlessly in all conditions.

We moved our commercial workshop into a purpose built location. To connect three phase power was out of the question both price wise and impractical. However, we were able to keep our vital table saw and thicknesser once we discovered EuroTech's Booster. Our machinery works like a dream.

We have used a 12kw booster from Euro Tech since 2005.
We run forging equipment, large welders, lathes and compressors off this unit.
We have a two phase power supply into the property as we are in a rural community. At the time of installation the Euro Tech booster was one tenth of the cost of having 3 phase mains power connected to our workshop.
I have been very pleased with the performance of the unit and surprised at how many motors we can start and have running in the workshop at the same time.
Helmut has given us pleasant and efficient service and is always available if we have any queries.
It has been a pleasure to do business with Euro Tech and I would recommend them to any one who is contemplating installing a 3 phase supply to their property.

After taking over the company in 2000, I intend expanding the scope of work we were doing, but lack of three phase power was a big obstical. At that stage the quote to install a bigger stransformer and run three phase power to our premises was uneconomical because we were renting the property.
Our company did very well and we had to replace our dimension saw with something to cope with the bigger workload. Beginning of 2006 we made the decision to purchase a new dimension saw - which was fully digital and needed three phase power. The obvious solution was to get in touch with Eurotech to get an 8kw Booster to supply the demand. The Booster was delivered and installed - the same day the saw arrived.
I can only speak of satisfaction and excellent service from EuroTech as well as the performance of our Booster. We had no problems or any delays with this Booster since day one. I will seriously recommend anyone to consider investing in a Eurotech Booster if you need three phase power. If you move on, you can take it with you!

When I closed my marine engineering business I retained most of the machinery and installed it in my 'Bloke's Shed'. Unfortunately when we built our home I didn't have the foresight to install 3 phase power, so making all my gear work was going to be a problem. Fortunately this was solved by installing a 12kva booster from Eurotech.
Installation was a breeze. The hardest part was lifting the booster onto the top of the cupboard where it lives. This thing is HEAVEY. The electrician wired it in and it worked straight 'Out of the box"; no adjusting, setting up or anything. It happily runs my Victor Lathe (7hp), Milling Machine (2hp), Pedestal Grinder (5hp), Bramley power hacksaw (2hp), and 3ph, 300amp welder. Admittedly none of these operate simultaneously under full load, but I have done my best to load them up to test the booster, and it never missed a beat.
I haven't calculated the savings in running costs over a three phase supply, however my property is 100 meters from the road, and I was quoted over $10,000 to install a 3 phase underground cable. Compared to this the booster was an absolute bargain.

We are a cabinetmaking business in the Bay Of Islands and only had single phase power.
We needed to get three phase power so we could run larger machines, but when we found out the price we decided it was out of the picture, then one day we were searching the internet to see if there was anything else we could use and we came across Euro Tech.
We spoke with Helmut and he said a 12kw booster would be the ticket, and it was but at a fraction of the price of getting three phase connected.
Euro Tech has really saved the day for us and it works excellent.
It was money well worth spent and would recommend Euro Tech’s service and booster’s to any who are looking at three phase.
I am happy to speak with anyone who would like to know more about our booster.
Thanks again Helmut.

My name is Bruce Haye , I have a busy panel and paint shop in Whitianga doing mostly classic & custom restoration and also insurance work ,I bought one of the 3PH Boosters about 5 months ago to run my 10 hp compressor and a 3.5 hp fan on my spray booth .
The Booster has been working perfectly and has saved me $5.50 + gst per day on the supply of 3ph into my workshop, over a year that is over $2000 for the year so in two years it has more than paid for itself. The work shop next door has 3ph connected and they are a crane hire company so they only do the occasional bit of welding and run a 3ph door opener. when we compared our power account, my account was substantially cheaper than theirs and my compressor runs all day.. Not only do they pay the $5.50 per day but their power per unit is more expensive than what I pay.
When they rang the power company to Query the account the power company said they pay more for their unit rate because the power company has the ability to supply a more power because they have 3PH .
So I am very pleased I have gone with the Booster .
Cheers EuroTech thanks for all your help .

When I first purchased my farm I decided to put three phase power in my shed and put a three phase pump at the bottom of my bore hole, because three phase motors are more reliable than single phase (no switch gear). As time went on I found the only use for the 3 phases was my bore pump and the odd time I did a bit of welding with my father's Young's welder. The cost of having the separate supply was approximately $27.00 a month, five times the cost of the power used. By installing a phase converter and running a cable from the house I could instantly save $27.00 a month. This amounted to an eight-year payback period for the installation, so it was a no brainer really. After 2.5 years I am already ahead of my eight-year payback because the supply charge I no longer pay has increased. The cost of installation has also gone up dramatically with the cost of copper cable. It does not pay to procrastinate in these days of rising costs.
Normally you turn your phase converter on and then the load. However my 4kW unit can start my 1.5kW bore pump under load (phase converter and bore pump start simultaneously). I was also surprised to find that it would run my 4kW circular saw with no problems, I would normally expect to need a slightly larger converter. My model is not suitable for a welder (I believe some models are) but these days you can do 99% of your welding with a single-phase inverter welder that you can carry in one hand. The phase converter is an impressive product and it is great not having to pay the power companies charges for 3 phase.

We needed to locate a new high frequency 16kW welding machine that required three phase power, but we only had standard 240 v in our small home workshop. We had spent a long time trying to find space to rent in a local factories which had three phase power but since we required such a relatively small area it wasn’t possible to find anything suitable so we decided to move the machine into out garage, right next tour workshop.
The cost of having three phase power to the garage was prohibitive but putting in an extra 240 v line to give us 400 volts two-phase was not so difficult. This meant that we could then install EuroTech’s three phase generator to run our welding machine.
It also means that when it is time for us to move the machine again we will not have to locate premises with three phase power.

We shifted homes and the new property did not have the 3-phase power I needed to run the workshop lathe. The cost of getting 3phase power in from the road was prohibitive. I bought a 4kw Booster from Eurotech and have no problems with it. I start the booster, run the lathe, then turn it off - it's that easy. A good, cost-effective solution.
